Minimum order quantities, enforced when you are ready
Flyte can hold every order to each product's minimum order quantity. It is switched on per account, so you can fill in your MOQs first.
Every product in Flyte can carry a minimum order quantity (MOQ), counted across all sizes and colours of that product together. Flyte can now hold orders to it everywhere an order is placed: in your team portal, in the customer portal, and on the confirm, approve and raise-order pages your customers use.
#Switched on when you are ready
Enforcing MOQs before your products carry the right ones would stop real orders. So the MOQ gate is off unless it is switched on for your account. While it is off:
- Orders below a product's MOQ go through exactly as before.
- You can still enter and edit MOQs on every product.
- Prices can be entered without an MOQ.
Once your products are ready, ask your support team to switch the gate on. From then on:
- A customer sees "Below the minimum order of …" on the product and can't submit until the quantity is reached.
- Your team gets the same check when creating or editing an order.
- Price break tier 1 starts at the MOQ.
Tip
before asking for the gate, run through your most-ordered products and check each has the right MOQ. A product with no MOQ, or an MOQ of 1, has no minimum.
