Sending a conversation to a human, and privacy
When the assistant can't help, Send to a human turns your conversation into a support ticket. What happens next, and what the assistant keeps private.
The Flyte assistant answers from the guides. When your question goes beyond them, or you'd rather talk to a person, Send to a human passes the conversation on to your platform support team.
#When to use it
- The assistant says it isn't sure, or the guides don't cover your question.
- Something looks broken: a button doesn't work, a page won't load, or what you see doesn't match the guides.
- You need something done that you can't do yourself.
- You want a person to confirm an answer before you act on it.
#Step by step
- In your conversation with the assistant, press Send to a human at the top of the chat.
- Confirm.
- Your conversation becomes a support ticket for the platform support team, so you don't have to explain it all again.
#What happens next
The ticket appears under Messages → Support alongside your team's other tickets.
| Ticket status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Waiting on the support team |
| Waiting on you | Support has replied |
| Resolved | Closed. Posting again reopens it |
Support replies are labelled "(Support)" and ring your bell. Attach screenshots in the ticket to show what you see. Press Mark resolved when you're done.
#Privacy
- Support tickets are visible to your whole team and to the platform support team. Once you send a conversation to a human, your colleagues can see it too.
- Never put passwords or card details in a support ticket, or in a chat with the assistant.
- The assistant can't see your data. It has no access to your orders, customers, products, prices or messages, so it can't reveal them.
- It serves your company only. It won't discuss any other business on Flyte, and has no information about them.
- It keeps its own instructions private, and won't discuss how the platform is built or run.
#Common questions
Can I get a person without using the assistant? Yes. Go to Messages → Support and press New support ticket, enter a Subject and Message, then Create ticket.
Who answers support tickets? Your platform support team, the people who run Flyte for you.
