Flyte for your customers and factories
On accounts where it's switched on, your customers can ask Flyte about their portal and orders too. What they see and how it hands over to your team.
As well as the assistant for your team, Flyte has versions for your customers and your factories. Each is switched on per account, separately from the team assistant.
Good to know
If your customers or factories don't see Flyte in their Messages, it isn't switched on for your account. Your platform support team can tell you more.
#Flyte for customers
Where it's switched on, Ask Flyte is pinned at the top of Messages in the customer portal.
Your customers can ask it:
- how the portal works, for example how to confirm an order, change an address or approve a visual;
- where their orders are up to.
What your customers should know:
- It's private to them. Their chat with Flyte is their own.
- It can make mistakes. The portal tells them to check anything important with your team.
- Send to a human sends their conversation to your team as a message on one of their orders. If they have no orders yet, they're asked to contact your team directly.
- Start over clears the conversation.
When a customer asks whether Flyte is a person, the answer is no: it's an AI assistant, and Send to a human passes their question to your team.
#What this means for your team
When a customer presses Send to a human, the conversation arrives as an order message, like any other message from that customer. Reply to it in Messages in the usual way.
#Flyte for factories
A version for factories exists too, switched on per account. Factory portal questions about the portal itself, such as being unable to log in or a button not working, otherwise go to Support in the factory portal, which your team doesn't see.
#Common questions
Will a customer's chat with Flyte appear in my Messages? Only if they press Send to a human.
