The Products page and product workspace
Find, filter and open products, and get to know each tab of the product workspace.
The Products page (menu → Products) is the master list of everything you make or sell. Every other part of Flyte reads product details from here, so keeping it accurate keeps your orders and purchase orders accurate.
#Finding a product
The page has tabs, each with a count:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every product. |
| Customer | Customer products only. |
| Base | Base products only. |
| Stock | Supplier stock products. |
| Missing images | Base and customer products with no photo. |
You can search by code or description, and filter by status, style, category, range, factory and customer. More filters sit under More filters, and Filters lets each person choose which filters show for them. Active filters appear as chips you can remove one at a time.
Sort options are Range order (the default), Newest first, Oldest first, Code A-Z and Code Z-A.
The list shows a thumbnail, Code, Type (BASE, CUSTOMER or STOCK), Description, Factory, Customer and Status.
#Quick actions
Each row has a ⋯ menu with Edit, + Customer variant (base products), Duplicate, Set to Draft or Restore to Active, Set Inactive or Set Active (customer products), and Delete.

#The Details tab
- General: Owner (locked after creation), Sub group (customer products; groups it in the customer's portal), Product code (type the full code), Description, Factory reference (the factory's own code for it), Similar design (factory sees), Vendor, and Catalogue visibility (base products).
- Classification: Style is the garment type (Hoodie, Polo, Tee) and the factory sees it. Category is the sport or department and the factory does not see it. Then Technique, Branding, Colours (the colour treatment, not the garment colour), Neckline / waist, Gender, Features and Tags (press Enter after each tag).
- Production: Factory, MOQ, Lead time (days) and Fabrics. Choosing a factory locks the buy currency to that factory's currency and limits fabrics to its library.
- Size when folded & freight: width, length and depth in cm, and the volume. This drives the freight part of the sell price and the costing of shipments.
Watch out
A product with no folded size shows a No volume chip or banner. Its freight cannot be worked out, and a shipment carrying it cannot be closed until it has one. A customer product with no size uses its base's.
#Notes
Notes on the Notes & timeline tab are internal. Your team and the factory can see them; the customer never does. Press ✎, type, then Save notes.
#Common questions
Where has the quick-view panel gone? It has been replaced by the full workspace. Click a code to open it. The old General tab is now Details.
Can I bulk-import products? No. Import settings CSV at the foot of the Settings menu loads settings lists only, such as styles and size groups, and it replaces the existing values.
A product has no thumbnail. How do I fix it? Use the Missing images tab to find them, upload a photo on the Artwork & files tab, then click ★ on it.
