Integrations

What each tile on Settings → Integrations means, which integrations you control yourself, and which are switched on for you by your platform support team.

2 min read

Settings → Integrations shows the tools and services Flyte connects to. Many are switched on per account, so what you see depends on yours.

#Reading the tiles

Each tile shows a status:

Status Meaning
Active Connected and working
Off Available but not switched on
Not connected Not set up
Needs attention Something needs fixing

Settings on a tile opens its controls. Activate switches on one you control yourself. Managed by your provider or Contact your provider to connect means it's switched on by your platform support team; How to connect lists what they'll need from you.

#The integrations

#Adobe Illustrator

Exports artwork straight from Illustrator into Flyte.

  1. Press Download plugin and install it.
  2. In Illustrator, open Window → Extensions → Flyte Artwork Exporter.
  3. Enter your system's address and the API key shown on the tile (Copy).

Name artboards CODE_A1 for the front and CODE_B1 for the back, using the product code, and they match the right product. One click uploads the front, the back and a two-page factory PDF.

Watch out

Regenerate creates a new API key, and everyone using the plugin has to re-enter it.

#Stock sync

Updates stock products from your vendors nightly. Sync now runs it straight away. Vendors are set up in Settings → Vendors.

#Garment Works

If your account uses Garment Works, the tile shows its status, with Refresh status. There's nothing to set here.

#Database backups

Your data is backed up nightly. Run backup now runs one immediately; Refresh updates the tile.

#Shopify

If your account has Shopify switched on, this covers importing orders and B2B customers, pushing products, and creating orders in Shopify, whichever parts are switched on. Import customers first: set the Customer tag, then Import customers, then Import orders. Imports are manual only.

#AI assistant (MCP)

Lets approved AI tools connect to Flyte, read-only. It has Allow AI tools to connect, the connection address, connected applications and recent activity. A team member also needs the Can connect AI tools (MCP) power to connect a tool under their own login. This is separate from the Flyte assistant in Messages.

#Card payments on invoices

Part of invoicing, if your account has it switched on.

#Also shown when switched on

File storage, Message translation, Email tracking, address verification and Factory platform.

#Common questions

A tile says "Contact your provider to connect". That integration is switched on by your platform support team. Press How to connect to see what they'll need.

The Illustrator plugin stopped working for everyone. Someone may have pressed Regenerate. Copy the new API key into the plugin.

Stock levels look out of date. Press Sync now on the stock sync tile.
