Date requests

Answer a company's request to check whether you can make products by a certain date, before they send the order.

1 min read

Before sending an order, a company may ask you whether you can meet a date. This is a date request. You can approve it, offer a different date or quantity, or decline it. Answering quickly helps the company give their customer a reliable date.

Where: Messages → Requests. Date requests to answer also appear on To get done.

#What a request shows

Each request shows:

  • the products and quantities
  • the Date required
  • the company's note

#How to answer

  • Approve — you can make it by that date.
  • Edit — offer a different date or different quantities, then press Save.
  • Decline — you cannot do it.

If you have questions, reply in the request's own thread before you answer.

Watch out

Approving a tight date means you accept the terms shown on the request: "the order with artwork must be provided same day and panel prints, if applicable, approved within 1 day." Read them before you approve.
