Confirming an order from a purchase order you emailed

When your supplier builds an order from a PO you sent, one link lets you approve the artwork and confirm the order together.

2 min read

Plenty of orders start as a purchase order emailed straight to your supplier. Their team builds the order from your document and sends you one link that does two jobs: it's the usual order confirmation page, with your artwork added for review.

#Why you're reviewing artwork here

An order that comes in as an emailed PO skips the visual approval step. So the artwork sign-off that would normally happen on a visual happens on the confirmation page instead. Nothing goes to a factory with artwork you haven't approved.

#What the page shows

Each product shows its renders, logo placements and size chart — the same review you'd get on a visual — with two buttons:

  • Approve artwork
  • Request changes

The details your supplier keyed in from your PO (PO number, freight, delivery address and required-by date) are pre-filled for you to check. Quantities are still yours to adjust.

The size grid shows the product's full size range, not only the sizes on your PO. You can add bigger or smaller sizes here, or zero out ones you no longer need.

#Step by step

  1. Open the link in the email.
  2. For each product, check the artwork and press Approve artwork or Request changes.
  3. Check the pre-filled PO number, freight, delivery address and required-by date. Change anything that's wrong.
  4. Adjust quantities if needed.
  5. Enter your name and submit. One submit does the lot.

For a full explanation of each field, see Confirming an order.

#If something needs changing

You can't confirm until every product is approved. That's the same rule as visual approvals, for the same reason.

If a product needs work, choose Request changes, describe what's wrong and press Send Feedback to Our Team. Your feedback goes straight to your supplier's team. They fix the artwork and send you a fresh link. Anything you already approved stays approved, so you only review what changed.

#Common questions

I emailed my PO. Why am I reviewing artwork? Because the order skipped the visual step, so the artwork sign-off happens here, on the same link as the confirmation.

Can I order sizes that weren't on my PO? Yes. The size grid shows the full size range for each product.

Do I have to retype my PO details? No. They're pre-filled from your document. Check them and correct anything that's wrong.
